For your consideration…

Yesterday’s message reminded us that our humanity is what we have in common and what binds us. When we fail to see or feel that commonality, we lose our humanity.

What causes us to lose our humanity? What blinds us to our commonality? It is our Ego. It is the fears and beliefs we have “developed” that blind us.

What blinds us is the mirror that is presented to us through others. We like to see the kindness and love reflected back. We don’t like to see the harshness of judgment, nastiness, indifference etc. But that is just as important for us to see as is the love and kindness. Willingness to see, accept and work on our own flawed beliefs and fears is a direct measure of our humanity.

We are asked to be brave. Look at everything that is reflected back to us and accept the challenge to grow for the highest good of ourselves and the highest good of all.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Love and welcome what we see in the mirror.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A wonderful PJ day.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Alex and James.

-My new nightstand finally came….some assembly required. I bought it because it had a bottom shelf that could hold the So Clean machine Bruce bought me for Christmas. I bought it for the surface space and the shelf. I was shocked that I had overlooked that it had a drawer AND a charging station. This little table completely cleaned up and organized my nighttime routine.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
