For your consideration…

Our exact message today is, “Home is never very far away.

We tend to think of home as a physical place. In reality that is not always the case. We may live somewhere and call it home but it does not feel like home. Home is the place our heart feels at peace and comfort. Home is where we can completely be ourselves with no pretenses. Home is where we feel safe. So by definition it is that place within us. It is our authentic self.

Our authentic self goes where we go. We have access at any time. If we do not feel “at home,” it is because we choose not to go there. We might ask ourselves why that is. What are we afraid of? The answer should be nothing because our home…our authentic self…never judges us. It always supports us. It is always there to comfort us.

We are reminded today that when we are in need of comfort, peace and love, we need to go home.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Make sure to go home every day.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A bright shiny day.

-Lunch with my friend, Janet.

-Catching up with Jackie and Alex.

-Seeing old friends and acquaintances as we say goodby to Steve…for now.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
