For your consideration…

For sure we have heard this message many times both here and elsewhere in our lived. “Patience is a virtue.

Admittedly this has been a tough lesson for me for most of my life. I like to get things done, check tasks off of a list. Just recently in a conversation with a friend, I commented on the journey to patience and things that I have learned and what has helped.

One thing that changed my life was a Kindle. I love to read. As soon as I started carrying my Kindle in my purse, my patience was no longer an issue. Rather than be angry on having to wait and my precious time being wasted, I looked forward to the opportunity to read. It is amazing how as soon as I released the anger and expectation of timeliness, I rarely have to wait anywhere.

We are reminded today that holding on to expectations too tightly does not allow for room for the ALL can be. We are reminded today that impatience is really a lack in faith in Divine Timing. Patience is a virtue and Diving Timing’s faithful student.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Clear you chakras.

-Let it go. Be patient.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Great 5th graders including a young writer.

-Sunshine so bright we needed sun glasses. Love it.

-A young student teacher.

-Catching up with Jackie.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
