For your consideration…
There is a Dolly Parton song, “Here You Come Again.” It is about an old love that keeps returning. It is fun that today that old love is the New Year and all that represents to most of us.

In this song the old familiar pull…the smile…the new year, tears down our defenses…the walls, the excuses etc. that we have built up. It takes over and makes us take a fresh look and fills us with HOPE and the willingness to try again.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Hold onto our HOPE without judgment and let it stoke enthusiasm for the new year.
What made me smile yesterday…
-In the last couple of days I have tried 3 “guinea pig” recipes. Against all odds, they are all keepers.
-Catching up with Shannon, Lori and Alex.
-Snuggling in on a rainy day with a good book.
–HOPE.
