Humble and Kind

For your consideration…

Today’s message is about and for our children.

Think about it. Notice all of the media available. See and hear what our children see and hear. How much is positive? How much is negative?

It is a different world than when many of us grew up. It is like that with every generation but this generation will never have been exposed to the shelter of family and family values. There is simply no real way to isolate them.

So we are asked today to make the exposure we have to every child valuable. We are asked to be a positive role model. We are asked to always show love, caring (to all things) and always be humble and kind.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Slowly release them.

-Let all the children who cross your path see a positive, loving role model.

What made me smile yesterday…
-My sweet little ones.

-Asked what they wanted to share, Maggie responded, “My daddy got us up in the middle of the night so we could wake Mommy up to say Happy Birthday.”

-Catching up with Alex and Jackie.

-An early bedtime….Good thing because the dog woke my up twice in the middle of the night to go out.
