For your consideration…

We all have those big moments in life that have burned a special place in our hearts; the birth of children or grandchildren, weddings. events, people etc. They are milestones for us. They are important to us and who we are. They are gifts for sure. They are so big we can’t forget them.

Today’s message takes nothing away from them yet it tells us that they are not what sustains us. Indeed what sustains us, are those little moments. Little moments where we chuckle and giggle and everything in between all the way up to belly laughs. Laughter and joy are what sustains us and feeds our HOPE and faith.

Our life without those little moments of laughter and joy would be unhappy and miserable. We can not find happiness waiting for the next big moment. It is those day to day little moments of laughter, smiles that warm the heart, hugs and kisses that truly sustain us and carry us through. Think about it. We remember the birth of a child but it is when they can smile at us, laugh with us and share hugs that stokes our joy.

That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Love and laugh.

What made me smile yesterday…

-God bless the parapros. Mine yesterday were awesome.

-Realizing how truly blessed I am.

-AJ is MVP of his soccer team.

-After all of these years, Mac finally got her braces off and her smile is perfect and sooo beautiful. She is sooo happy.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
