I Can See Clearly Now
Johnny Nash
I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.
I think I can make it now, the pain is gone
All of the bad feelings have disappeared
Here is the rainbow I’ve been prayin’ for
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.
Look all around, there’s nothin’ but blue skies
Look straight ahead, nothin’ but blue skies
I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.
Songwriters: Kenneth Gamble / Leon Huff

For your consideration…

Sometimes we feel lack of clarity. We feel confused. We feel like we lack appropriate direction. We feel unprepared and scared. We feel frustrated. All of us have felt some or all of these things.

Today’s message reminds us of several things. First, stay fully present in the moment you are in. Let go of the worry of the next one. Second, we are never alone. We  have our Guidance with us 24/7. We can always turn to it. Third, These feelings are of the moment. They are not permanent. They will pass as things come into focus. And they will come into focus, exactly when they are supposed to. Just like the rain, they will lift and we will see clearly with the sun on the bright sunny day.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Affirm…”I am never alone.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A half day of school.

-Bruce is on day 5 of no smoking and he isn’t even crabby. Wahoo.

-Great students.

-An afternoon nap. Rare but awesome.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
