For your consideration…

I love today’s message for so many reasons.

First I love it because it came in on a song I know well. In fact, I think I have written about it before. The song is from the children’s mindfulness program “Inner Explorer.” My students love it and they love singing the song at the end.

The Inner Explorer Song

“When I look up, I see the whole world shining
When I look down, I see a world that’s mine
When I look out, I see everything
When I look in, I can hear my heart sing”

I don’t remember what our message was about before when we got this song but today it focuses on one line, “When I look out, I see everything.” That line is the second reason why I love this message. It reminds us to notice….see…really see…everything we look at. There are no coincidences. Our eyes are looking at what they are supposed to see. What and why are the obvious questions.

The third reason I love this line. We are reminded today that energy flows where our attention goes. When we really see, then we send the energy we want to send. When we are fully in the moment we can direct the energy we want to send.

So often we feel like the world is out of control and there is nothing we can do. The fourth reason I love this message is because it reminds us that is not true. We can change the world. We can make it better. We can unleash our positive loving, kind, HOPEful, joyous energy onto everything we see. It is a choice. We always have a choice.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water. Take care of our water. Bless our water. Conserve our water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-See everything.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Seeing Alex in the morning.

-Talking to Shannon and Jackie.

-It was Friday.

-An early bedtime did wonders.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
