For your consideration…

Hmmm…so today’s message may not be liked by some of us. We have all heard the phrase “You complete me.” It is so romantic. It is the ultimate complement to someone. However, it is not true. At least it shouldn’t be true.

Certainly, partners, family and friends impact our lives and who we are. But no person can complete another. Indeed, we are never complete. We are perpetual works in progress.

Should we seek out people who positively add to our lives? Of course. But should we hand over our power and be dependent on another person to make our lives happy. Absolutely not. It is up to us to make/allow ourselves to be happy. It is up to us to continue to grow into all that we can be. No one can do it for us. And we can not do it for someone else. The task…life purpose…is ours alone.

It may sound harsh but it really is a good thing.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Meditation/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

What made me smile yesterday….

-Birthday lunch with Jody at Bona Sera.

-A chill afternoon.

-Going to the show with Bruce, Bob and Jody.

-A good book and early bedtime.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
