For your consideration…

I love today’s message reminding us of the “amazing grace” always available to us. Divine Grace is defined as the “free and unmerited favor of God as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.”

We are reminded that Grace is available to us 24/7. It is never unavailable to us. It is never taken away from us unless we choose to not accept it. They hymn “Amazing Grace” is recognizable to most of us by its very first few lines, “Amazing Grace how sweet the sound.” But today’s message came in with the next verse, “Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come. Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far and grace will lead me home.”

Our attention is drawn to this verse reminding us that we have already born many trials and tribulations and here we still are. We have weathered many storms and are still here. We are here because of God’s grace AND his blessings.

We are reminded that Grace is not just about accepting forgiveness, it is about accepting the blessings we are offered as well.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Bathe in the light of God’s “Amazing Grace.”

What made me smile yesterday….

-A wonderful whole night snooze.

-A beautiful day and many things on my “to do” list done.

-Funny pictures of my poor Mac recovering from passing out while being fitted for her bridesmaid outfit. Poor baby.

-Talking to both my girls and Jody.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
