For your consideration….
The feeling around today’s message is comfort, encouragement, humor and love. Our message is meant for each and every one of us.
We are meant to be perpetual works in progress. Each and every day we have the opportunity to grow. Does this mean that we never slip up and disappoint ourselves? No, of course not. But even our slip ups are lessons and aid our growth. The key is to “notice” them and NOT “judge” them. Continuous berating of ourselves inhibits growth…the complete opposite of what we seek. Today, flaws and all, we are the best version of ourselves but not as good as we’ll be tomorrow. Today’s experiences, choices and knowledge will make us the best version of ourselves tomorrow.
From birth to death we have opportunities to grow and become better versions of ourselves. It is a perpetual circle for us to embrace, if we choose. As always it is a choice. We always have a choice.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Embrace every opportunity for growth.
What made me smile yesterday…
-No, sweet boys, you may not whip your pants down and pee outdoors during recess.
-A half day and an afternoon nap.
-Catching up with my Sis.
-A fun night with my women’s circle.
