For your consideration….
As a nation we are relatively young. Our forefathers had an incredible vision and believed so strongly in this vision that they fought against unbelievable odds to birth it and this nation. Today we honor not only them but those who have fought to preserve and protect it. Some gave the ultimate sacrifice. Those who have served and continue to serve fight for our right to the pursuit of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Our message today reminds us that while they served as a unit. the sacrifice was individual. It is our job to individually pick up our rights and defend and pursue them.. It is our job…an individual job…to use our life and liberty to pursue happiness. The rights have been given to us, protected for us, but it is up to us to bring them to fruition in our own life. Let us not squander the opportunity.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors, put our bare feet to Mother Earth and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Pursue happiness.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful hot sunny day.
-AJ’s soccer day with the team he grew up with.
-A day soaking up the sun on the back patio with a book.
-Little tasks done early.
