For your consideration…

Where do you fall? Are you getting caught up in all of the anger? Or are you staying silent and avoiding it, keeping yourself removed from it. We have had messages before that remind us that we have the power to do that, to make a choice.

Today’s message reminds us that what we see, hear and react to is based on our own points of reference. It is based on our own filters, how we have been conditioned. We are asked today to make a “paradigm shift” and accept that no one can see things exactly as we do and visa-versa. No one is always right or wrong. Heck, there may not even be a right and wrong but just a difference. We don’t have to agree. We just have to remember that we are looking and reacting from a different conditioning and it is ok. Disagreeing does not mean we are foes. It is exactly what the word says, we disagree. We see things differently.

We do a dishonor to ourselves and others when we can not listen with an open mind and heart. If we can make a paradigm shift and remember and accept and respect that, then perhaps we can return to civility.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep cleansing breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-When we feel anger taking over and our hearing shutting down, we can step back and take some centering deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Alex came in on time and bright and early in the morning.

-Catching up with Shannon and taking care of our plans.

-A chill day at home.

-A good book between watching shows that I have taped and never seem to get to.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
