For your consideration….

“Seeing is believing.” Is it?

If we stop and think about it, we know that is not always true. When we see with just our eyes, we sometimes see what others want us to see or even what we want to see ourselves. Seeing what is right and true means we have to see with our whole self. We have to see what our soul sees. That means we have to listen to what it is telling us. What are those nagging thoughts and feelings telling us? For example if we see someone who is all smiles but out gut tells us something is off, then it is. Or if we are somewhere, no matter how beautiful, and we get warning signs of danger, then there is danger.

We all get those little warning that something is not quite as it appears. Deep down we know we are not seeing the whole picture. Listen to those warnings.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water. It helps with clarity.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. It helps clear out the recycled air we get inside and it helps with clarity as well.

-See with your whole self.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Lots of hugs from my little ones.

-Warmer weather even though there was snow in the morning and some rain later on. In between we had dry warmer weather.

-I should have known something was up when I could not hear my students across the hall in art. When I went to pick them up, she had them in their seats with their heads down. She told me they had not had a good class. Darn, I was just saying what a good day they were having. Should have knocked on wood or better yet kept my mouth shut until the end of the day.

-Catching up with Jackie.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
