For your consideration….

True courage is living your authentic self. It sounds easy. It should be easy. but it is not always easy.

Living your authentic self means staying true to your true self. It means trusting it even when you don’t understand it. It means sometimes you have to do things you don’t really want to do. It means sometimes you have to walk away. It means sometimes you have to walk to and embrace when you are reluctant to do so. It means taking opportunities even when you are content where you are. It means being vulnerable and being fierce. It means sometimes being the lone voice. It means searching for the authentic self in others. It means loving and accepting yourself without judgment. Sometimes it means shouting out. Sometimes it means keeping your silence. It means accepting the journey even if you don’t know where it is going or when it is going to end. It means remembering that you are here for a reason and are an intricate part of the whole.

We are asked to bravely live our authentic self. Without our piece of the puzzle, it could not be completed as it was intended.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…“I am affirmed.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Live your authentic life. Put your authentic self in line.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A great great group of middle schoolers.

-Sunshine and no rain made it seem warmer than it seemed.

-Grocery shopping done.

-Easter leftovers.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
