For your consideration…

Today’s message is a first in that it was given to me yesterday. At first I was confused but is part two of a two part message.

I had to laugh at the words, “rest and return. “Rest and return” are the words we use in one of our elementary schools. We use them in place of “time our.” Certainly we have not been given a “time out” but we may have taken one on our own. We may have taken a step away from our faith, our authentic self, our God.

Easter Sunday reminds us that our time out is over and we are lovingly invited to rest and return back where we belong, our true home with HIM who truly, unconditionally loves us.

That is the ultimate HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piec,e HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Rejoice…welcome home.

What made me smile yesterday….

-An easy relaxing, work at your own pace day.

-Yikes, our first thunder of the season. I could see the look on our poor dog’s face. “OH NO!”

-Lunch with my sister-in-law, Ginger. So good to catch up with just the two of us.

-A good book.

-A couple good ideas to work on. Ahhh, can the creative juices be starting to flow again?

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
