For your consideration……
I think it was last weekend we were asked to just let go and play. Today is a little different. We are being asked to let go and go with the flow.
Sure. We have some things planned and we are not being asked to forego them. What we are being asked to do is not over plan or think too much. If you have an event, go, but without expectation of outcome. If you don’t have plans, stay open and see what pops up.
The universe is a big and magnificent place full of opportunities and gifts for everyone. We are being asked to get out-of-the-way and see what unfolds for us.
If you have a problem, surrender it. There is already a solution. There always has been. Everything is exactly as it is supposed to be.
Today we are simply being asked to let go and practice going with the flow. You don’t have to know where it will ultimately take you. It will take you to exactly where you are supposed to be. Today is just a part of that journey. Relax and enjoy it. Watch it unfold. Expect unexpected gifts. That is the HOPE.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope actions steps anyone can take……
-Meditate…..for as long as you can.
-Drink water….lots of water
-Take some deep breaths outdoors.
-What pops into your head today? Is it a friend? Phone them. Is it a movie? Go see it. Something you would like to go do? Do it. Practice going with the flow. There is a reason it popped up.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-I made some great cards. I tried a new technique. Struggled but prevailed with a great outcome.
-Bruce. Now I think I have mentioned that he knows nothing about a computer. He panics if he is home alone and happens to see it is on. For most of us computers are a ho-hum by now. So it is fun to see wonder and excitement. Here’s how it went:
“Chris, do you think you could find a song for my iPod?”
“Yup”
“Do I have any money left on my I Tunes card?”
“Yup”
He continues to stand there so I know he wants me to do it now. OK. He follows me to my library and sits down on the window seat. He usually just hands his iPod to me and I have to go find him when I’m done. So this is the first time he has ever watched the process…..simple as it is.
With Mercury in retrograde, I fully expected the computer might need to be restarted or the internet to be slow or down. Or I wouldn’t be able to find the song. But no. In great speed and efficiency in just a minute or two. It was all done.
I stand up and hand him his iPod back.
“It’s done? It’s there?”
“Yup”
He does a little dance.
“Ain’t that a wonder? It’s just like turning on a light bulb! Wow!”
“Yup”
Just like that lots of joy in a little unexpected place. $.99 and a really happy husband.
