For your consideration….

I love today’s message for several reasons. First of all, I love how it came in. It woke me up via a train and then reminded me of the ferry in Utila.

Their is a train that runs through the country at least a mile or two away. I rarely paid attention to it until my friend Kathy mentioned the train that she hears in her neighborhood which is a few miles from me. She talked about how a neighbor told her what the whistles meant and how much she loved hearing them. I later realized that the train I heard running south of my neighborhood out in the country was the very same one she heard south of her neighborhood. So I started paying attention and felt comfortable that we should both be hearing the same train moments apart. I also thought that perhaps my friend, Vicki, also could hear that same train that runs north of her. Maybe. I will have to ask her.

I also notice that when it is early morning or late night I can not only hear the whistle but feel the earth’s vibrations from it as it rumbles through. That is what I heard and felt that woke me this morning. I was reminded that when the ferry in Utila left I could feel its vibrations a mile away. I did not even have to see it to know it was leaving.

So we are reminded today the power of energy and the vibrations it sends far and wide. We are energy beings. Our energy creates vibrations that reverberate far and wide. We have no way of knowing where they stop, what they join along the way and the full impact they have. So we are asked to take care of ourselves and be conscious of our energy because we want our vibrations to energize good, joy, love and HOPE in all they come in contact with.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Feed your energy. Take care of yourself. Guard your joy, love and HOPE

What made me smile yesterday….

-I am humbled. Twenty kindergarteners kicked my butt.

-At one point I asked, “Does my voice sound crabby?” They responded, “NO!” I responded, “YES! This is my crabby voice. You need to turn your voices off when mine starts. I do not want to have to raise mine to be heard.” They nodded their understanding but it went on deaf ears.

-A glass of wine within 1 minute of entering my home.

-Dinner at our club, a good book and an early bedtime. All is back on track.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris

Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter, Shannon…
