For your consideration….

Isn’t this photo cute? It really says it all.

Many of us were/are tuned into “more, more, more.” Certainly, “more” can be a motivator for growth. But “more” is not always necessary or even a good thing.

Today’s message reminds us that we can become inundated with “more” causing us to procrastinate, freeze up or become overwhelmed and confused.

Consider the internet. We have so much information at our finger tips. We can search for days, months even years any given subject. Then we have to sort the validity of it all. Where did it come from etc. All the while, no decision or actin is being taken. How many opportunities are lost during that time?

The question is, “Is it necessary?” We can easily become information overloaded. Then what? To what purpose? We are reminded that we were fully functional human beings long before the internet. We were capable of making informed quality decisions before the internet.

All of us have probably heard stories about lottery winners. More money does not necessarily make their lives better. It changes it but does not necessarily make it better.

Balance in all things is key to a happy productive life. More can be better if we have counter-balances in place to support it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Consider all sides of “more?”

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A snow day.

-The sun made our snow glitter.

-Catching up with Alex and Jackie.

-After a long and stressful day for Mary and Don, I was able to take them to the airport. Their flight did take off 4 hours after the original departure time.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
