I needed this reminder today. It always makes me smile when I just can’t seem to get the message and suddenly a song or poem jumps in my head…like dah. Is it plain enough now?
I think we all often need this reminder. We all get stressed out, angry or anxious. We get busy and involved in the day-to-day living of life. And we forget to keep the most important thing in our life first and foremost. Love.
Love is the game changer in every single instance. It is the game changer in all things big and small. It is the game changer in the mundane and the extraordinary. It is the game changer in our interactions with those close to our heart and the stranger on the street.
There are no incidences that are not fixed or at least made better when we apply the energy of love. So when you hit those walls, try to let go of the negative and apply your love to it. Easier said than done, I know. But it truly serves your highest purpose as well as the universe’s. That is the HOPE.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate. Again try soft music if you do not have a guided meditation you like. Try the counting in sets of 20 if your mind will not settle down.
-Drink lots of water.
-What or who do you just love? That is the feeling we need to remember when we are stressed or angry etc. That is the energy we need to apply.
-Take some time for you today. If it can only be 5 minutes to do something you enjoy, take the 5 minutes.
-Spend some time outdoors. Take at least 10 deep cleansing breaths.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-Breakfast out with Alex and running into people we know.
-My neighbor. He was so aggitated and I don’t blame him. But we had to laugh at the absurdity of the situation. Their washer broke. They have stackables so, of course, they got a new washer and dryer that matched. They were delivered on Saturday scratched and dented. They sent them back and were promised new ones would be delivered on Sunday. They were. Except when these were unpacked one was stainless and one was red. Let’s all send some love to those stock and delivery men who obviously must have a lot of going on in their life.
-Alex’s pictures on the Warrior Dash. Who does these things? Evidently thousands of people. Yikes.
