For your consideration….

It doesn’t happen very often, but once in a great while I get a message that I prefer not to write. My contract with Archangel Metatron is that a.) I’ll always get a message. b.) I will write what I’m given to the best of my ability. In other words I don’t  have to worry about getting a daily message but in turn I will write it without judgment.

Today’s message is a little different. I agree and believe in it wholeheartedly. I don’t even have to think about it. I got it from my mother. I can not tolerate whining. I have probably said this before. We have probably had this message before. Clearly it is worth repeating. So why was I resisting? I did not want it to be about the NFL.

But if I am honest, whining seems to have been a theme all week. I wish I had a dollar for each time we have said, “Mollie, we can not understand you. Please stop whining and use your big girl words so we can figure out what you need.”

Then yesterday I had a conversation with my grandson, AJ. He does not like his gym teacher. He went on to explain why and how the class could be more successful. AJ is an athlete. Frankly, I am always confused on why students who play sports are mandated to a gym class. Wouldn’t their time be more well spent learning about health and diet? Whoops, a digression. Back to the point, I told him how I like how he doesn’t just complain. He follows through by clarifying why he feels this way and identifying solution.

Whiners are spoiled. They lack the character and the will of spirit to make positive change. It is natural for children to whine. It is  up to adults to build the character they need identify problems and come up with solutions.

Let us be clear. We don’t necessarily have to have the solution. We have to be thinking of one. We have to be willing to be a part of it. And let’s also be very clear. YOUR solution is not valid if it is painful, disrespectful or harmful to OTHERS. Our job is to be part of solutions for the highest good of all.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….\

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Consider not watching football today. Instead, consider going on-line and finding a way that you are comfortable with helping others. I don’t know anything about this blog link, their views etc., but I like the links they have to help disaster relief areas. Please consider doing this today. These links are from “thehogsty.com.”
