Shots Across the Bow

For your consideration….

I love that I found this picture because it is light-hearted which is how our message came in.

It says exactly this, “Look, problems….bumps in the road….are just shots across the bow. They are meant for us to pause and think about how we want to proceed.”

When we are forced to pause, we can make a decision on whether we want to move forward or not. Is this our problem to solve or not? Am I seeing the problem clearly? Is my solution plausible? What results do I want and am I going to get them with my approach? Should I just walk away from it altogether?

Shots across the bow are also reminders for us to express gratitude for what we do have….what is right in our world.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Pause, take a deep breath, then move on.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A beautiful day.

-Our DISH network was fixed.

-Pam and I did happy hour at Ann Arbor restaurant week. Fun….

-A chill night and early bedtime.
