The dictionary says that trust is “assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something, or where we have laid confidence, a contingency.” Notice it is not set in stone.
How do we trust? We use our instincts and all of our senses to conclude trust is deserved or not. So does it not stand to reason that a major building block in our own foundation, (our Core Essence Self, our Soul), is that we trust ourselves first?
What does self-trust feel like? It feels good. It feels like we are competent and in control.
It conquers our fear because we remember we have made mistakes before and know we will make more. And we know we will survive them as we have before. It knows that all experience presents opportunity for growth in our character, ability and strength. We believe we will be able to see that.
Self-trust allows us to participate in life more fully because we feel our value and trust our capability to deliver. It gives us the confidence to share.
Self-trust is like air. You can’t see it but you can feel the results of it. You know if it is there or not.
Self-trust is vital to our well-being because it feeds our thoughts and as Orison Swett Marden states, “To think you can, creates the force that can.”
And most importantly, trust is HOPE. A person without self-trust is a person without HOPE.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate, start by taking deep breaths in. Breath in HOPE. Fully exhale all self-doubt.
-Get out doors into nature. Notice what crosses your path.
-Play, laugh, smile, love.
-Drink lots of water.
-If you have any self doubts, do tapping (EFT) around them. Look in the reference section on this page to link up to EFT. It is easy. Any one can do it. It is a valuable tool for everyone.

-I could not get my internet to work yesterday. I wrote the blog from a coffee-house. But I got the best guy at Best Buy who could answer all of my questions and set me right up.
-Shannon and her family are back from vacation. They had a wonderful time but it is good to have them home.
-We were invited to dinner. Mary has a houseful right now but it is all good. It was all fun.
