Those Who Pay

For your consideration…..

Today’s message came via a reminder of a conversation I had many years ago. It was probably about 1995 or so. Hillary Clinton was trying to get national health care passed. My mom and step-dad both had health issues. They were on my step-dad’s health care but when the company went out of business or was sold (I don’t remember which), their retiree benefits changed. Having the government take over health care seemed like a dream come true. As we talked Mom was surprised that I did not support it. I said this to her, “Mom, those who pay, have the say. When push comes to shove and we know it will, (look at Medicare) and a choice has to be made, who will get the resources? Given a choice between a young man with a family or a retiree, who will get the restricted benefits?”

I know this sounds crass but it is the truth. Those who pay have the say. Suspend judgment and think about it.

Today’s message is not only talking about money. It is also talking about work. Specifically today, spirit work. Our growth, fulfilling our life, purpose depends on the work we do. Handing it off to someone else does will not get the benefits, rewards and growth we desire. There is a difference between seeking out guidance, considering it and incorporating it versus doing what someone else tells us to do, think and believe.

One of my biggest arguments about writing this blog was that I did not want to “preach.” I did not want to tell people what to think, believe and do even if the messages are being given to me. Archangel Metatron’s response was, “So, write For your consideration.” This is why every single blog, every single day starts with those words. Much later I realized that God and the rest of our Guidance does not want to preach to us and tell us what to do. We were given free will. It goes without saying, that they are thrilled when we ask them for their help and Guidance but the choices ultimately must be our own. They want us to do the work and make the choices we need to fulfill our life purpose. They want us to own our life purpose. They want us to come to them and believe via our own free will and discovery.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water. It helps with clarity.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Do the work, reap the rewards.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-The final task in my yearly health check up is done.

-A beautiful day….beautiful sunshine after all the rain we had. And warmer weather after our chilly day yesterday.

-I tried a new recipe and it was delicious.

-A good book.
