Noticing
For your consideration……
As I write this blog, I am listening to a Sunday morning service. While their topic is a little different, many of the words I was given for our message today are the same. I tell you this as a reminder of the synchronicity and affirmations that we are constantly being given if we notice.
I can not count the times I have said or wrote, “We all have the ability to connect to the other side and to connect and interact with our Guidance. All it takes is belief, silence (at first) and practice.
Our Guidance is with us 24/7…..always. We are reminded to notice it and interact with it. How? Notice what you are noticing. What has drawn you attention? Start pulling the thread and ask why? Why now? What does it mean? What is its purpose? What am I being asked or guided to do or not do? Sometimes it is obvious. For example, I know that when a butterfly comes directly in my path, it is my mother coming. Depending on the situation, it may be just to express love. Often it is to pause and return to faith and patience reminding me that it is all good and will work out. If a lady bug appears it is a message delivered via my father. Often as I am pondering something, I will hear a crow start squawking. I know then to pay attention, pause and figure out why.
Perhaps we are driving down a road and we have to stop for deer or geese. Perhaps we are reading and look up and are immediately drawn to a cardinal etc. We have all had moments where we had to return for some reason and find that we did not turn something off or we something else we forgot. Everyday we have people, places and things put in our path that are unplanned because our Guidance is always working and rearranging to get us where we need to be.
Our message and task today is simple. Simply notice what is put before us today. Notice what we see, hear and feel. Interact with your Guidance in all things big and small.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Notice.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-A beautiful sunny day.
-Brunch with Pam.
-What a surprise! We ran into Jordan.
-A beautiful drive out to Manchester with Bob and Bruce.
Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
Rev. Chris
