For your consideration….

Doesn’t feel good to give your body a good stretch when you wake up in the morning? It feels good to get the kinks out and feel longer, taller again. Doesn’t it feel good when you have to reach as tall as you can to get something off of the top shelf or in the back of one to get something hidden and being wasted?

Our message today is about stretching and reaching. We are asked to get the “kinks” out of our attitudes, pre-conclusions, habits, goals etc. We are asked to reach and stretch them to the max.

It is in the reaching and stretching that we are able to realize our greatest grow and achieve our biggest dreams. We are often told that we do not dream big enough because we do not have the capacity to fully grasp all that the Universe has ready for us. We are often told to just be ready and willing to take the next step.

Today we are told to stretch that step. Make it is long and high as you can. We are asked to stretch our dreams. Go for more and expect that even those will be exceeded.

We are asked to reach beyond we think we can. Reach to the back of the “shelf.” Reach to the highest “shelf.” Reach past what you think you are capable of. Reach out to people to have walked onto your path. Reach out to people who have not.

Reach out to new experiences. Try things you never thought capable of doing. Reach out and do something daring. Reach out and go somewhere new i.e.; new restaurant, park, church, exercise facility, vacation spot etc.

We doubt that we are more. But how can we not be considering our Creator.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be joyous, be excited….reach….stretch.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Affirmations.

-Sunshine. I love how the nature loves to surprise us. It looks warm but is it? It wasn’t warm so we bundle up and discover it has gotten warm.

-So, I put a challenge out to the Universe yesterday morning after I wrote the blog. Spring break is coming up and I have no plans (not that I don’t have plenty to do around the house.) If I could get an airline ticket at this late date to go to LA for less than $300, I would go. I plugged in into the handy “Hopper” app on my phone. No luck. I looked again when my kids went to music. And there it was, round trip for $269. I jumped right on that. Thank you, Universe.

-Cathy, who I will be visiting, could not believe it. So was so excited which further stoked mine. See how that works

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
