For your consideration….

Above is a picture similar to something I saw in my yard yesterday. It made me chuckle. I saw a robin sitting in my yard with his head scrunched down between his shoulders facing a head on snow storm. I thought to myself that he should be seeking shelter.

This morning as I was given our message, that image I saw yesterday came in. I recognized it but didn’t understand what the message was. I asked for clarity. Immediately I was reminded of how you dock a boat (against the current). You may wonder what one thing has to do with another but I immediately understood the message. They are analogies for today’s message.

We are all faced with life and work problems and challenges. We can retreat and shelter ourselves. We have that choice. But the better choice is to turn into them and face them head on. Facing them head on is where we have the most control and where we will have the most success.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Face life head on.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Lunch with Ginger.

-Seeing the “green.”

-My robin.

-Catching up with Cathy and Alex.

Love, Blessing and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
