For your consideration….

Today’s message is about the need to feed into arguments, disagreements, angry movements etc. Each and every day we are being bombarded by negativity. We are being told what to think and what to do. We are being encouraged to buy into anger and discord as though that were the best way forward.

We are asked to stop and think. Do we have a need to be “right?” Do we have a need to constantly argue our point of view? If we find ourselves buying into the need to feed being right, we need to ask “why?” The need to be right and demand that others buy into it comes from the ego.

Our authentic self knows that our truth is what it is. It does not need to be defended. No one else needs to buy into it. We don’t have to argue about it. We only need to live it honorably and to the best of our ability.

Let’s get out of the feeding frenzy, stay above the fray and live our own truth. It is our best contribution to uplifting and changing the world.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Live positive.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Flexibility.

-It felt good to work in a school that my father-in-law helped get built and where my husband was part of its first class.

-Dinner with Mary. Looking forward to leftovers.

-My Peanut’s report card. Awesome.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
