For your consideration….

Any one who knows me know that this is a difficult message for me. I have worked on patience my entire life. I am one of those people who if it is on my plate, I’m going to work quickly to get it off. If I have a to-do list, I’m going to dig in and get it done. Certainly, there are some good qualities with some of it. The problem comes in when, the “flow” is forced. Some things are just meant to take time.

Life has a flow and balance. When we put our wants and desires out into it, the Universe starts rearranging itself. Sometimes it needs some time. Sometimes our wants and desires are not for our highest good and the highest good of others and it takes time for us to see that.

When we lose patience, we upset the balance. We are bucking the flow. We are making our life more difficult that it needs to be. St. Augustine said, “Patience is the companion of wisdom.” Patience requires faith and a willingness to trust and go with the flow. It is a virtue that we have in our life tool box should we choose to use it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be patient and let the Universe unfold all it has in store for you.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A good sleep in to try to get rid of this cold that came on so suddenly.

-Afternoon naps…catching a theme for the day here?

-Reservations made for a May trip.

-Dinner with Mac and Shannon. Lots of laughs. I remembered things I didn’t remember I ever knew. God bless you, Uncle Bob…..you were always my hero.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
