For your consideration….

Until I taught school, I never heard this saying. I was surprised when students say their mothers say it all of the time. The phrase….”You ‘git what you ‘git and your don’t throw a fit.” I don’t know why but it always makes me laugh when I hear it. And I laughed this morning when it came in as our message.

We are reminded that life happens to us all. At the same and different times we all have our trials and tribulations. Focusing on the “poor me” victim mentality is a waste of our time and talent.

It is far better to live in gratitude and fully participate in making our life as full, happy and productive as we can. It is for our highest good and the highest good of all.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Meditate/pray…ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-If we already know what that is, we can ask for support for its success.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Count your blessings.

What made me smile yesterday….

-My young 5’s that I have spent so much time with this year. I love seeing their progress.

-A beautiful sunshiny day.

-Catching up with Jackie.

-Good news from Alex.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
