For your consideration…..

….ask what you can do for Mother Earth.

There are a lot of opinions. There is a lot of advocacy. There is lots of fighting about who and what are right and wrong. It is easy to point the finger. It is easy to be a parrot. It is not as easy to practice what we preach.

The bottom line today is that each of us has a responsibility to love, appreciate and take care of Mother Earth. Each and every one of us is tied to her and dependent on her. It is up to each and every one of us to love her and take care of her as she does us.

So the question is not what she can do for us but what we can do for her. Make no mistake, each of us has a part to play and each and every one of us can do our part each and every day.

We can share. We can conserve. We can pick up trash even if it is not ours. We can recycle. We can lead by example. We can notice and appreciate our Mother Earth. We can love and cherish her.

What we can do to protect and save Mother Earth begins with us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Make taking care of Mother Earth a part of everyday life.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A snow day.

-A dentist appointment. Yeah, done for a few months.

-A good book finished.

-I was a cooking machine. Finally, I found a good french bread recipe and baked it. I perfected a cheese cracker recipe attempting to duplicate my mother-in-laws. I’m pretty close. Add a roast to the oven and the house smelled amazing.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
