“Move on. It’s just a chapter in the past. But don’t close the book, just turn the page.”

…Yashar Ibra

For your consideration….

By definition, if we think of something as a mistake, we have applied judgment. Conversely, if we think of a decision or action as “right/good,” we have applied judgment. We just can’t seem to help ourselves. We are so often judgmental. We need to work hard to let go of judgment.

Today’s message is specific about judging something as a mistake. We deem that something that happened to us or something we said or did as wrong….as mistake. We are reminded that is is no such thing. It just is UNLESS we let our ego judge it. Worse still is when we let our ego goad us into action or series of actions to justify our judgment. That is the mistake.

We are asked to let the word “mistake” be a trigger. As soon as we hear ourselves say it, let us pause and ask our ego to step aside so that our authentic self can clearly see the lesson and wisdom of what has been put in our path. Look forward to the future and how this lesson will serve you well.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Suspend judgment.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A slow easy day.

-Watching lots of cooking shows. I may put some of the lessons into action today.

-An exciting Army/Navy day.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
