For your consideration…..

We are reminded of the lessons we try to teach our children. Be respectful, responsible and kind. And as Pete the Cat says, “It is all good.”

Our message today reminds us that no one else is responsible for our happiness. It is our job. Focus on lack and unhappiness brings more lack and unhappiness. Whining is unattractive and unproductive.

The very best way to attract what we want is to be it. If we want more respect or more happiness, we need to take responsibility and be grateful and respectful for the blessings we do have. That is where our focus needs to be.

We all have gifts from God. We were all born with the tools we need to create the life we want. Let’s put on our big girl’s and boy’s pants and go for it. If we are not sure what we want, then get silent and ask, “What is it I am being asked to do?”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-Be respectful, responsible and kind.

What made me smile yesterday….

-No more political ads at every TV commercials.

-Bruce and I were so efficient. After school, within 2 hours we had driven to Ann Arbor, purchased new pants that Bruce wanted, bought a new bed and mattress that Alex was demanding, bought dinner and were back home.

-Catching up with Jackie.

-An early bedtime.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
