For your consideration…..
Don’t you just love this picture. Timing is everything. So much so that we go to great lengths to plan and control it. Sometimes our plans are wildly successful or a disaster or everything in between. Sometimes no matter what we plan the Universe steps in as if to say, “I have a better one.” “I know exactly what you need.”
It is the unexpected that our message is about. It is about those little surprise and delights that just show up i.e.; guests, a break in a bad weather pattern that lets you get outside to enjoy the day, a new recipe that you can keep as a favorite, an unexpected phone call, a short vacation that you did not expect, canceled plans that allow you to sit in and chill out with a book, a good laugh etc. My all time favorite is a baby that you never thought you could or would have.
We tend to try to plan out as much of life as we can but today we are reminded to leave room for the surprise and delights that the Universe has in store for us. Flying by the seat of your pants is not always a bad thing.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all.” Remember, you only need the next step.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Be excited for the unexpected.
What made me smile yesterday….
-An early morning chat with Cathy,.
-Two good books.
-An unexpected break in the weather for the football game goers and us to chill on the deck.
-I love Alex and James’ “can do” spirit.
