Turn, Turn, Turn

For your consideration….

I don’t know why but I have never really liked the song “Turn, Turn, Turn” by the Byrds.  None the less, it was presented to me today. So here it is:

Turn, Turn, Turn

To everything – turn, turn, turn
There is a season – turn, turn, turn
And a time for every purpose under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones
A time to gather stones together

A time of war, a time of peace
A time of love, a time of hate
A time you may embrace
A time to refrain from embracing

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time to love, a time to hate
A time of peace, I swear it’s not too late!

I think we are being reminded that our life, like everything else, is a cycle. It has up and downs, joys and sorrows love and hate, etc. What we have done or how we have handled those cycles is imprinted in our history.

But we are reminded we are rooted in love. Just like the beautiful tree above. It is a reflection of itself. It reflects its strength, history, resilience, peace, love and uniqueness in beauty as do we if we choose. We have a choice, we always have a choice. This moment is a gift. Turn, turn, turn. Turn to your purpose under heaven. That is the HOPE. (Hmmmm, presented like that, maybe I do like this song.)

Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate

-Focus on healthy eating.

-Drink lots of water. Drink one more glass than yesterday.

-Go on-line and download the free EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) manual. This is not hocus pocus stuff. Remember, we are energy. EFT follows the energy in your body and is a powerful healing as well as manifestation tool. In that order I might add. We must heal to be master manifestors.  Anyone, I repeat, anyone can use this tool. But if you have questions, you can always email  or ask me in the comments section on this page.

-Grab some deep breaths out-of-doors. Breath in the beauty. Exhale all that is negative, all you no longer need.

What made me smile yesterday….

-My day started in joy. My Sis called. That in itself is joy. But her Aiden story gave me wonderful chills.

-I went to pick up my new car. The owner of the dealership, Ken, is my husband’s life long friend. We always have laughs and stories.

-Yup, Bruce brought me another Magnum ice cream bar. I smiled but I had to tell him to only treat me once a week. Of course, I am focusing on healthy eating too!
