For your consideration….
Choices….we all make them. We are all responsible for our choices. Our life reflects the choices we have made.
We are reminded about our choices in today’s message because our message is about other people’s choices. We are reminded that just as we make our choices so to others make theirs. They need to just as we do.
We may not like the choices people make but we need to respect them. This can be hard if we think they are making a bad choice especially if it is people we care about and love. A true test of our love and commitment is to suspend our judgment and support them.
This does not mean we agree with bad decisions. It does not mean we understand them. It does not mean it is a choice we would ever make for ourselves. It means that we support our loved ones right to make them. We support them.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Suspend judgment.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-A rabbit giving birth in our yard.
-My plane did not leave our home airport and the time it was supposed to land in Newark. This meant that I missed my shuttle to catch my next plane.
-My Alex, ever so sharp, understanding how concerned I would be assured me that she could see flights that would still get me to San Paulo in time for my flight to Rio. After about an hour, a flight attendant was indeed able to get me on a flight. This flight also took off 2 hours late but so far it is showing that I can still make my connection.
-I met a wonderful senior citizen, Irene. Her belief system is so strong….she is so strong. She is a true testament to what being a powerful woman is about.
