For your consideration….

Personal Recognition In Daily Endeavors (P.R.I.D.E.)

We have lots of messages about pausing to be grateful. Everyday on this blog “What made me smile yesterday…” is an attempt to recognize the biggest to the littlest things in the previous day that I am grateful for.

Yesterday we were reminded to put ourselves first to make ourselves the best we can be for the highest good of all. Today we are reminded to include ourselves in what we are grateful for. We are asked to remember those things that we did, thought or said that made ourselves and therefore the world a better place. Remember, no judgement. The small is big and the big is small. It is all good.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Remember you in your gratitude reflections.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Waking up to the sound of rain. Not too hard, not too soft…just right and steady and peaceful.

-It was a good morning to vacuum, mop and dust.

-Oh my, I started a jigsaw puzzle. I haven’t done one in decades so what made me think a 1000 piecer could be done in no time, is beyond comprehension now. However, I successfully found places for some of my “mini sub-assemblies.” This has got to be major, right? Lesson learned. Find a different spot than the only table I have at Stillwater.

-Seeing my Sis and visiting with our Uncle Jim.

-Getting together with our Mom’s and our friends is always a blessing, treat and soooo much fun. It truly warms my heart and soul.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
