For your consideration….

Today’s message made me laugh out loud. It was one of those exchanges where I had to say, “Really?”

Yesterday our message was about holding space for good. One way we often do this is by sending blessings.

Today we are told that when we get angry at someone or something, rather than curse send unkind thoughts, we should send blessings. For example, someone cuts you off on the road or is polky causing you to miss a traffic light etc. Rather than say or think unkind things, honk your horn or curse, send them blessings.

“Isn’t this a bit disingenuous?” I had to ask. “Certainly, the body, mind and spirit is not in the same place to make it successful.”

The answer, “Yes, and maybe it won’t be effective. However, it will do no harm. It takes the steam out of negative energy.”

Let’s try it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let’s try the Do No Harm blessings.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A relaxing morning on a beautiful day.

-Winter and summer clothes have finally been switched around. I should have done that way sooner.

-Catching up with my sister.

-My new sleeping machine is here. I successfully breathed thru my claustrophobia.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
