For your consideration…

Sundays where I live are all about church. Traffic, shopping and restaurants all need to take in account the “church crowd.” I guess that is just like any other day except people are nicer. People are more polite and respectful of each other. They are anxious to help one another. Maybe it is because they went to church or because they are more relaxed. No matter the reason, it is nice. It feels good.

Why can’t everyday be like Sunday? We have a choice. we always have a choice. We can choose to like everything and everyone we see. We can choose to be kind, helpful and respectful. We can wake up tomorrow morning and choose to love the day and everything in it. Yes, we can choose to be excited for it. We can choose to decide that Monday is going to be a great day. Tuesday is going to be a great day. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday all will be unique, full of opportunity, and fabulous…if we decide we want them to be.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask..”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” Listen for and follow the response.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. I’ve already done that but am going back for more. Ymmm.

-Drink lots of water.

-Love today, you and everything else in it.

What made me smile yesterday….

-My husband and I successfully went and picked up a new to us sofa and recliner….not without his grumbling….but it is done and looks great.

-An absolute picture perfect day.

-Dinner with Don, Nikki and Mary. Fun, fun, fun. Nikki had Taylor send me a picture of her baby blanket that I made her. She still loves it despite its sad shape after 18 years.

-A great picture of James and Alex in Las Vegas sporting new “shades.” Seriously, “shades” must be an aviator thing.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
