For your consideration….
Today’s message is tougher for some of us more than others.
As lightworkers we want to spread love, happiness and joy. And in fact, when we give these things from our heart, we do make a difference. In turn we feel additional love, happiness and joy.
“So what is so hard,” you may be asking?
What is hard is that we are only “part of the equation.” We can help. We can lighten another’s load but we can not make them happy. Even if we gave everything we had, we could not make someone else happy.
When we are trying to help, it is easy for the boundaries to get blurred. “If I just do a little bit more, that will make them happy.” “If I take on all of their burdens and find solutions, then they will be happy.” Consciously or subconsciously we may think these things. The reality is they are not true.
We can add love, joy and happiness to someone else’s life but they have to accept it for it to have impact. We are part of the equation. The other part requires personal responsibility. Change requires personal responsibility. Happiness is a personal choice.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Give love, joy and happiness freely. Choose to be happy.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-A great road trip with my friend, Pam.
-The flow of the day was perfect. Everything we did just flowed from one thing to the next.
-Great bargains.
-A great Lovely Ladies Women’s Circle get together.
