“The dark night of the soul comes just before

revelation. When everything is lost,

and all seems darkness, then comes the new

life and all that is needed.”

                                                                Joseph Campbell

For your consideration….

In the years I have written this blog, I can only remember a couple of times where the message made me so sad I cried. Today is one of those days. And while it makes me sad, I know the message is critical.

I don’t know who, but someone meant to read this message is considering suicide. Someone is carrying unbelievable sadness. They feel irrevocably lost.

Stop! If we are lost in a forest, we know that we are to stay put until we are rescued. It is the same if our spirit is lost and our sadness is overwhelming us. We are told to just stop!  You are not lost. You have an internal GPS that notifies God of your position. Wait! Listen. God will see that you are guided back into the light.

No one is so lost that they can not be brought back into the light where love and HOPE can once again burn bright in our soul.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Tune into your HOPE.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Getting up early and visiting with Shannon and Mac.

-PJ’s all the rest of the day.

-Keeping this cough under control is a full-time job.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris

Happy Birthday, Dad.
