For your consideration….
Today’s message is a reminder. Learning is not a one-way street. It is not always from the top down, teacher to student, parent to child event.
We are all at once teachers and pupils. We have much to learn and teach each other no matter the age. There is no quicker way to get a fresh perspective or the blatant truth then running something past a child. Every “why” in a young child is cause for us to pause and see through fresh eyes.
We are asked that we are still pupils and everyone and everything is our teacher.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Learn, look with fresh eyes, and open heart and eager ears.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-Kindergartners.
-Mac’s basketball game. She is so polite, considerate and nice. Who is that girl on the basketball court?
-Good open discussions with Mac at her confirmation meeting.
-An early bed.
