For your consideration…..

We tend to think of courage when there is danger or a lot of risk involved. The truth is being courageous in the mundane parts of our everyday life is every bit as important.

Courage is a “can do” attitude. Courage is being willing to try and then if unsuccessful realizing the benefit of the learning experience. Courage is having the confidence to accept the risk and try. Courage is having faith that no matter the outcome, it will be ok.

We often hear talk about the impatience of the “me and now” generation. Information on virtually everything is available almost instantly creating that “now” attitude. However, there is a flip side to this impatience. Many of the “now” generation are fearless of trying new things. The information they have available to them encourages them to try. Seemingly everyday ordinary people as well as experts put up “how to” videos creating an attitude of “I can too.”

Of course, patience is a virtue and learning it is important but so is the HOPE of  the courageous heart that says “I can or I’ll try.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Tap into the courageous whispers of your soul.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Talking to Lori,

-It is great having my brother near and being able to make plans with him.

-Gifts arriving on time.

-An easy burger night at our club.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
