For your consideration…..

The “act” is not what defines itself. It is the intention behind it.

For example, hurtful words are said. The question is, were they meant to be hurtful? Were they meant to be demeaning or demoralizing? If we are on the receiving end, we might also ask ourselves why we let the words hurt us? Why are we letting them define us? What was our intention in the act and/or the exchange?

The same thing goes for forgiveness. The size of the sin or digression has nothing to do with forgiveness. It is the intention behind the request for forgiveness. It is in the belief that we can be forgiven that allows forgiveness.

We have a choice. We always have a choice. Go to the heart of the matter and look at intention. Then act accordingly.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Beware of intention.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Sunshine.

-Sleeping with an open window.

-A good book.

-Oprah and Deepak’s 21 day meditation.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
