For your consideration….

We are reminded today that “Rome wasn’t built in a day. But it was built to last.

We can find ourselves busy and rushed as we fit in all the things we want and need to do. Sometimes, we simply have no choice.

But today’s message reminds us that for those things that really matter, we need to slow down and be deliberate. We need to focus on each step realizing it is key to the next and the next and the next. We need to be fully engaged and own each step in the journey.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, step by step action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all.”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be joyous in the journey.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-We were blessed with yet another beautiful sunny and warm day.

-No coats and flip flops.

-As the Christmas gifts start rolling in my husband, Bruce, says “Chris, the foyer is starting to look like a warehouse.”

-Last year I gave him and my son-in-law a silly gift that they turned out loving. They were sets of koozie cups that had magnets on it so they stick to any metal ie; the side of the truck in the garage, the riding lawn mower, refrigerator. Wherever they are they can just stick it by them somewhere. Last night our friend, Bob, stopped by and we were outside talking to him. Bruce, had a beer and he stuck it to the back of his truck. Bob notices and asks him about it. Bruce tells him about them and then says they came in a set, “Do you want one?” “Well, yeah.” Bruce goes in and comes out with a black one, “Here, I got you a “Harley” black one.”

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
