For your consideration….

…or a box and just give it away. We’ve heard the saying, “One man’s garbage is another man’s treasure.”

We are not being asked to do any spring cleaning. Maybe that will be another message some other day. Today’s message is about the energy of giving and receiving. Remember they are tied. The more you give, the more you get. By making giving a part of our daily lives, we unleash energy into the Universe that will unclog it and make it more free-flowing.

There are all different ways we can give. Our message today offers a simple way. Grab a bag or box everyday, load it up with what we no longer use and give it away. Besides Salvation Army, Goodwill, Purple Heart etc., there are drop boxes everywhere these days. Just put the bag in the car and deposit it the next time you see one. We are reminded to make it easy or else we won’t do it. Example: Pick a spot in the basement that you can go to and easily collect a bag. Pick a closet you want to clean out. Have a “giveaway book bag” and deposit your book in it when you are done.

Remember, no judgment. The size of the bag or box is not important. It is the commitment to action. It is the intention. Consider offering a blessing as we drop off our donation. “I release what I no longer need with HOPE that whoever receives it is as blessed as I.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Grab a bag of “stuff” and donate it.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Errands run. This sounds so easy but with our main road closed you really have to think about efficiently running errands.

-I cleaned out my refrigerator. Wahoo.

-Surprising Bruce by taking out the garbage for him. I heard him tell Alex, “She’s never done that before.” I don’t think that is true but he was appreciative. It was a little action that earned me big wife points.

-A beautiful sunny day where no air-conditioning was required. I love when we can have the windows open and hear the outdoors.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
