For your consideration…..

There seems to be a general consensus that some people are born with common sense and some are not. While we can not know if that is true, we can surmise that people have it in varying degrees. And we know that some people use it while others do not.

That is where politically correctness, marketing, persuasion  etc. comes in. They target the those without common sense. Do you doubt that? Watch children as they listen to commercials advertising a drug when they go on to list the “bewares.” They get this horrified looks on their faces right before confusion sets in.

Our common sense is a gift. It is a combined internal barometer, warning system, cheerleader, GPS, counselor etc. Our common sense comes from within but it can not do us any good if we do not listen to it.

“Believe noting, no matter where you read it or who said it,

unless it agrees with  your own reason and your own common sense.”

Buddha

We are asked today to first and foremost listen to and TRUST our own common sense. Do not let it be shut down or overshadowed by the media blitz bombarding us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the  highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Try to get you bare feet to Mother Earth for a few minutes a day.

-Let your common sense be your guide.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Breakfast out with neighbor, Jone.

-Talking with my sister.

-The start on going through a collection left by one of the Aunts.

-Shower date set.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
