For your consideration…..

So, how far would you go for a friend, your children, spouse or relatives you love? Do you see them as perfect? Or do you love them despite their flaws as John Legend says “love their perfect imperfections?

We are asked today to love ourselves at least that much. We are asked today to love our perfect imperfections. We are asked to honor our whole self, acknowledge it and accept it.

Our ego would have us always looking at our flaws, what needs to be changed versus accepting and loving who we are. We are reminded again that where our focus goes so goes our energy. Do we really want to focus on our flaws and expand our energy on them? Or do we want to focus on accepting and  loving our whole self and using all that we are to move forward to be the best that we can be? We are promised that all of the negative will automatically fall by the wayside when we work our loving and positive self.

Roopleen writes….

“Celebrating your achievements and applauding your triumphs

is a sure way to refuel your enthusiasm

and keep yourself motivated for future .”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…as…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Celebrate you! Love you!

What made me smile yesterday…..

-How can’t you feel great when you sleep until 11:-00. I could not believe it. I am a very early riser. Wow!

-Hearing from Alex and James and seeing their pictures.

-Finishing a good book.

-A surprise visit from an old owner of Stillwater who wanted to come in to look around. He was amazed and loved it.

-The confused look on our dog, Dude’s, face when the swans started hissing at him. “What, seriously, you don’t like me? Everybody likes me.” Hate to tell you boy, they are not impressed with you.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
