For your consideration…..

Today’s message started coming in yesterday. Balance started randomly popping into consciousness. Last night I was at an event honoring the full moon. During a great presentation about the moon, again I kept hearing Balance, Balance, Balance until finally the presenter talked about balance. Ahhhh. So I am not surprised that as soon as I took a couple of breaths to start my morning meditation, Balance was immediately presented to me.

We always feel strong pulls and deep emotions during a full moon. It is a documented fact that emergency rooms and police activity see a heavy uptick during a full moon. Much of our body is water and like the oceans we respond to the gravitation pull of the moon. During the full moon it is much deeper.

This full moon Capricorn and Cancer are pulling against another. Capricorn is typically about duty, career and accountability while Cancer is all about love, roots and home. We all deal with the conflict between these different part of our lives. It is easy to lose our balance and let one outweigh the other. A great example presented last night was that Cancer represents the “origin” and Capricorn the “goal.” I love this because it reminds us that we are always growing and evolving.

We were asked to answer why we are drawn so strongly to this moon and held here. My partner was adamant that it was for us to see the “whole.” I could see that. But just as important as it is to see the whole, it is just as important to see its pieces and how they are “Balanced” to make that whole.

Our feelings right now are intense and highlighted. It is meant to be so. It is hard for us to hold our emotions in. That’s because we are supposed to examine them, express them, let them go and regain our “Balance.” Notice the “examine them.” This is the buffer we need for these intense emotions so that we use them for good, cleansing and not weapons.

This moon has us in a holding pattern so that can we regain our “Balance,” we can see future plans and projects and ways to achieve them that complement who we are.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and celebrate. Take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Don’t fight, embrace the pull of the moon.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-An easy morning.

-Shopping done.

-A fun “full moon” get together.

-Alex and James’ mad dash for the airport. Sometimes it is good that the plane is late.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
