For your consideration…..
I am not sure if I put the cart before the horse or if our angels just felt more needed to be said. In any case it does not matter. This message can not be said too often.
I have the feeling that some people can not step into their life purpose because they do not see their own value. They can not see their own uniqueness. They can not see what they bring to the party.
I will not lie. I struggle with this. It is a glass half full or half empty thing with me. I see the half full. I can not consider the half empty. And so it is with each of you. It is very difficult for me, in fact it hurts my heart, to think of anyone not seeing their full and true value.
Every single one of us has potential, gifts, beauty, love, etc. to offer. Sure we came perfect and may have received a few scoffs and scrapes along the way. But that does not affect our value.
I have to face the fact that I can write and talk until I am blue in the face and not make a bit of difference. Only you can make yourself see and accept the value of you.
But I can offer this. Reach into your life tool kit and pull out your honesty tool. Get a piece of paper and pencil. Make a big “T” on the page. Label one half of the “T” “Me” and the other half “Them”. List all of your family and friends on the side of the paper. Now go down the list. For each person under the “Me”, write one word attributes you think they attribute to you. Next to the same name under the “Them”, write down the one word attributes you attribute to them. Both sides of the “T” are only describing YOUR relationship with each other. This exercise should be quick. Write the first things that pop into your head.
When you are done, erase the “T”. You possess all of these attributes even the ones you don’t automatically think as being great. You have to have them to see them. Remember the mirror image?
Also remember this, no one is in your life because they have to be. There is always a choice. We always have a choice. If they are in your life it is because you/they want or need to be.
It is my HOPE you will take a long look at this list. It is my HOPE that you will stand up in the knowledge of all that you are. It is my HOPE that you will expand the sharing of you with the world. That is a step in stepping into your life purpose and power.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take…….
